Independent Operation
Pre-Med Community (“PMC”) is an independently operated educational and admissions-advising platform. PMC is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any medical school, university, admissions committee, current or former employer, consulting organization, professional organization, or other third party unless an affiliation is expressly identified.
References to the education, professional background, admissions experience, interviewing experience, consulting experience, or other experience of PMC’s founder or contributors describe their individual backgrounds and perspectives. Such references should not be interpreted as statements made on behalf of any institution or organization with which they are or have been affiliated.
Independent Development of PMC Materials
Unless otherwise identified or attributed, original educational materials published by Pre-Med Community, including written content, courses, guides, frameworks, educational tools, question banks, practice exercises, videos, graphics, commentary, and other original resources, are independently developed from the author’s or creator’s education, professional experience, admissions-related experience, personal knowledge, independent research, and publicly available information.
PMC maintains its own educational materials, methodologies, editorial processes, and business operations independently from organizations with which its founder or contributors are or have previously been affiliated.
Third-Party Confidential and Proprietary Information
PMC respects the intellectual property, confidentiality, and proprietary rights of third parties.
PMC does not intend to publish, reproduce, disclose, or incorporate confidential information, trade secrets, proprietary internal materials, client-identifying information, nonpublic admissions deliberations, or other protected information belonging to any current or former employer, client, educational institution, consulting organization, or other third party.
PMC educational materials should not be interpreted as reproductions of confidential interview questions, internal admissions rubrics, proprietary consulting materials, or nonpublic evaluation criteria belonging to any particular institution or organization unless the material is lawfully public and its source is appropriately identified.
Applicant Examples and Scenarios
Unless otherwise expressly identified, applicant examples, interview scenarios, case examples, and practice situations appearing in PMC educational materials are hypothetical, independently created, derived from publicly available information, or generalized or composited for educational purposes.
PMC does not intentionally publish personally identifying or confidential applicant information without appropriate authorization.
Professional and Admissions Experience
Statements concerning lessons, observations, patterns, or perspectives developed through professional, educational, interviewing, admissions-related, mentoring, or consulting experience represent the individual author’s own generalized observations and opinions.
They do not purport to reveal confidential deliberations, proprietary methodologies, internal policies, or nonpublic information belonging to any institution or organization.
PMC Intellectual Property
Except for third-party materials used with permission, appropriately licensed materials, public-domain materials, and materials otherwise identified or attributed, PMC claims copyright and other applicable intellectual-property rights in its original website content, written materials, educational products, courses, videos, graphics, tools, original question and scenario formulations, compilations, selection and arrangement of materials, and other original works.
No license to reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, modify, create derivative commercial products from, or otherwise commercially exploit PMC’s original materials is granted except where expressly stated in writing.
No Inside Access or Admissions Influence
PMC does not represent that it possesses special access to admissions committees, confidential admissions criteria, nonpublic decision-making information, or the ability to influence an admissions decision.
Admissions guidance reflects independent educational judgment based on experience, research, publicly available information, and the circumstances presented by the individual student.
No Guarantee of Results
Admissions decisions are made independently by educational institutions and depend on numerous factors outside PMC’s control. No course, resource, consultation, strategy, assessment, or other PMC service guarantees admission, an interview invitation, a scholarship, a particular admissions outcome, or acceptance by any institution.
Educational Information
General information provided through PMC’s website, articles, calculators, courses, videos, newsletters, social media, and free resources is provided for educational and informational purposes. Individualized consulting services are governed by the applicable consulting agreement and terms in effect when those services are purchased.
